Recently GPT-3 has been taking on the net with many cases leveraging AI at it's core. May be soon we can have food cooked at home by this, may be we can have academic books written specially mapping each student, may be all homeworks of kids done by this, may be one can auto buy & sell stocks, you can travel with all world helping you on the way be it your maps, music, food, friends and more..
GPT-3 in nutshell is next step of information retrieval, it helps you to stitch all in a format which maps to your need. Example today a google search on Human Genomics may give you some relevant information indexed for you, where as possibly with GPT-3 we are talking about taking it all to next level where it will give you a detailed information summary/extract of all these google results weaved in with all bells and whistles of natural language ready to serve you. Claiming to do a job with billions of parameters & efficiently to make it match to human brain to create like alike experiences, GPT-3 may be on to something here, making it to be talked on VOV!
Hence the buzz, possibly it's a new era for human where we are humanizing tech to map us as friend. While this is all fun to learn and build, it may also be interesting to see how industry adopts this, and while doing this we may again see some irrelevancies cropping in for businesses which may not adopt this or delay adopting this. Be it GPT-3 or XYZ, we are surely at the cusp of change the way we look at information and possibly how it's even created and shared.
